Surely Putin could not be paying Trump a bribe as politicians often receive. Putin hardly has enough money to finance his illegal war against Ukraine so there would not be enough to put Trump on the payroll. Does Putin have dirt on Trump that would shock the American Public and turn them against Trump? If so, did Putin threaten to expose him if he did not agree to play by Putin’s rules? Putin is the master deceiver having served in the KGB in the old Soviet Union. If he had dirt on Trump he would not have to use his skills at lying or deceit. If there is dirt on Trump you would expect Putin to have it. Trump wants the peace prize and if he could bully Zelensky into surrendering to Russia he might be get credit for ending the war and get a peace prize nomination. Is that in his plans give Putin what he wants in exchange for a Ukraine surrender? Or is Trump an admirer of Putin because everyone does what Putin says and never challenges him. Is Putin the man Trump aspires to be?
Ukraine has been inflicting a lot of pain on Russia. With the help of Europe and the United States, Ukraine, who Trump said is not holding any cards, could be taking a lot of cards from Russia. It is time for a little less talk and a lot more action. Trump’s appeasement plan for dealing with Putin will only embolden Putin. Once Ukraine surrenders, he can demand return of all the area Russia controlled in the old Soviet Union and new territories including Alaska, Canada and Greenland. Having Trump to manipulate is like having a get out of jail free card for Putin.
