Is it ego that causes Donald Trump to think he can negotiate with all of the world leaders? He has been attempting to make a deal with Iran and where did that get him? He is dealing with UnGodly leaders there who have no regard for God’s Commandment “Thou shall not Kill”. They are only seeking power for themselves, with no love for God, their own citizens or other people in the world. They are so evil they have proxies they pay to murder people in other lands. Every thing they do is opposed to the will of God. Donald Trump finally decided to bomb their nuclear production facilities after realizing they would not change course.
Now we turn to negotiating with Russia. Trump’s big emphasis in the past seems to have been to bully Ukraine into ceding the land Russia already illegally occupies in Ukraine to Russia in exchange for Russia to agree to stop fighting. As he has been so fond of saying to Ukraine, “you do not hold any cards”. Great deal for Russia but a raw deal for Ukraine. Putin has been suffering some reverses lately and would love to make that deal in exchange for stopping his aggression against Ukraine. Then he could take a breather and rebuild his depleted weapons and military. Then he could restart his invasion of Ukraine later or instead invade another nearby country.
I am of the opinion that Putin is mentally ill. Mentally ill people are often irrational and if they are a dictator, like Putin, most people will fear confronting them. They do not want to disappear. I will confess that I did not major in Psychology in college so if you like evil people, like Putin, you can attack my credibility. I do not consider Putin a person one could successfully negotiate with.
I am not suggesting Trump should bomb Russian. But there are other remedies Trump could use to bring an end to this war. Trump has been withholding adequate arms to Ukraine because it would prolong a war he hopes will be ended if Ukraine will cede land. But as I said, that end to the war would likely be only temporary. Trump should give Ukraine enough weapons to annihilate the invading enemy. It would be just. They are defending their country against invasion. Russia is illegally invading Ukraine. Trump can also use sanctions against Russia that will seriously damage the Russian Economy. If the Russian People feel enough pain from Putin’s abuse of another country, and the Russians he is sending to die in his evil ambitions, they may depose Putin which would also be just. Trump has remedies for ending this war other that trying to get Ukraine to cede land to Russia and he should use them.
