Trump’s progress on some of the things he promised before he was elected bring him high marks such as closing our border to invasion by foreigners, reducing the size of our bloated government and reducing government fraud. His promise to quickly end the war in Ukraine does not meet expectations. Is Donald’s ego the problem in not getting the war ended? Is he so vain as to think he can negotiate with anyone? Would he try to negotiate with the Devil? Putin, like the Devil, will only agree to terms he sets. That is not negotiation on our part, it is surrender. I realize our unwritten national policy since World War II has been to never win another war. When we started getting the upper hand in Afganistan the Democrats realized we might win. They devised a quick retreat to prevent that from happening. We need a Commander in Chief in Donald Trump, not a Commander in Retreat like we had in Joe Biden.
We may be dealing with a mentally ill person in Putin. If so, he probably is not capable of rational thought. He likely believes he will be able to conquer Ukraine and then proceed to an invasion of Europe. Trump needs to stop being played by Putin and put a plan in action to stop Putin in his delusions of grandeur. How many lives might not have been saved if Europe and the United States had attacked Germany when they began invading smaller nations preceding World War II? What is the best plan of action? I am now the expert but obviously negotiation with Putin does not work.
I recently read an article from a national magazine indicating that Russian cannot continue to sustain the long war they are involved in. Sounds like a window of opportunity to me. Why not the US and Nato giving Ukraine the weapons they need to annihilate the Russian troops and mercenaries that have invaded Ukraine? Too many people would die, some might say. Would you feel better if the same amount of people would die over a longer period of time? Would you feel the same if Russian Troop were invading your country? Or would you prefer to be a slave to the possibility you might die?
Trump tried to bully Zelensky, of Ukraine, into ceding Ukraine Territory in exchange for Putin to agree to stop fighting which would only be temporary. That was a crummy surrender deal for Ukraine. Our nation is under one hundred miles from Russian by sea. What happens if Russian decides to invade on the Alaska Coast? Will we cede Alaska to them if they agree to stop fighting?
Trump has lots of tools to use against Russian in the form of sanction as well as sanctions against countries that support Russia in their illegal invasion of Ukraine. Why is he not using them? Putin and his puppets are trying psychological war by threatening to attack the US and Europe. Anyone who worries about those threats will soon be slaves. Russia, at the rate they are conquering Ukraine, will take 100 years to finish the job. How long would they last if Nato would attack them?
Trump’s other problem is the Chinese Communists are propping up Russia. Trump could easily solve that problem by refusing to trade with China. Without United States money pouring in they cannot afford to support Russian and build up their military forces to be the Bully of Asia. Problem solved.
