Recent election results in Virginia, Pennsylvania and New York City have given the Democrats hope after the beating they took in our last national election. I would not expect these elections to predict a trend in our national mindset. I will begin with Virginia election results. Virginia is a tough place for Republicans to win. For beginners the state has a large Black Population. Blacks vote Democrat about 90 percent of the time. If the Democrats can put a Democrat Title behind candidate’s name they can expect to 90 percent of the black vote. I will be bold enough to say that even if a candidate was under indictment for murder they would vote for him if he had Democrat behind his name. Evidence presented. Jay Jones ran for Attorney General. It was discovered he had sent a text saying he wanted to put a bullet in an opponent ‘s head along with a bullet in his children’s head. What a heinous thing to say. Why would anyone vote for someone so despicable? No problem. They voted for him. I rest my case. They other problem is the large number of people in Northern Virginia who either work for the Federal Government or work for companies that benefit from government contracts. They prosper from big government which the Democrats support. The Blacks and big government people form a coalition that is hard to beat in Virginia. No new trend here.
In New York City I understand there are over one million people on welfare. The Democrat Party is the party that promotes government handouts, so they have a lot of people who vote for them. The Democrat Candidate promised a lot of handouts. He got elected. One thing that is confusing to me is the large Jewish population that voted for the Democrat even though he is antisemitic. Jewish People have a reputation for having many smart people in their ranks. Do we need to revisit that idea? They will probably continue to vote Democratic because they always have. I see no new trend in the New York vote.
I was surprised by the Pennsylvania outcome. I had always thought of Pennsylvania as a place where a lot of hard working practical blue collar workers live. It is a well known fact that Radical Leftists have control of the National Democratic Party whose political leanings are more aligned with Communist China than values promoted by our Constitution. I expected the people of Pennsylvania to turn against the party that has turned against them.
