National Awards for Street Beggars

The Forum officially announces National Awards for people who some rudely refer to as “Street Beggars”. The Forum denounces anyone who uses such terms. We hope to meet soon with Senator Bernie Sanders to get his support for a bill to make it a federal crime to use the term “Street Beggars”. Using such a term is demeaning and insulting to people who are in the Personal Financial Procurement Business and who are very talented and skilled in their profession. It should be the goal of the United States Government to prevent anyone from hurting another person’s feelings purposely or otherwise by calling them names they consider derogative or criticizing their choice of an occupation. This right is enshrined in the Constitution wherein it says everyone has a right to the “pursuit of happiness”. How can one be happy is he is being ridiculed or criticized?

We hope to have the awards in a nationally recognized venue such as Dolby Theater in Hollywood where the Academy Awards are held, Carnegie Hall in New York, the iconic musical venue or at the Grand Old Opry of country music in Nashville. We might even consider a street venue in one of our large cities where honorees could demonstrate their talents.

Our committee also plans to meet with the Department of Education Officials, before Trump closes it down, to convince them to give out government grants to develop Community College Associate Degrees in Personal Finance Procurement. Then the next step will be a four year college degree.

We are looking for honorees for our awards. If you know of individuals who are outstanding in the business please give us their contact information. If you meet someone who tells you a heartbreaking story that beings tears to your eyes we would like to know about him or her. Recently I was on a beach with a lady, whose name will not be given to protect her privacy, and we were approached by a man who told us the heart rendering experience of burying his wife and not having enough money to go back to his home town. My companion was so moved by compassion she gave him $15.00. I thought that guy did a masterful job of financial procurement and probably should be an honoree. The next day I passed by his office{a tent he set up illegally on the beach}.I will not be able to go back to the beach to find him again because the beach is a long way from my home.

If you meet a someone who is an expert at using props in Personal Finance Procurement, please let us hear from you. Two people in the Financial Procurement Business who I have met, who used props, stand out. One was wearing a clerical collar. His ruse was he lost his wallet and need money to get home. I liked that approach. Clerics spend many hours trying to help people find spiritual fulfillment. What a great opportunity to help a “cleric”. The other was a man who had run out of gas and money. He had the gas plan as proof. Most of us do not carry a gas can in our car in case we run out of gas. I was impressed by his preparedness. The next week the guy approached me again with the same gas can and still out of gas. We will appreciate your help in finding worthy honorees for our awards ceremony. Send us your recommendations.
